Well, good. ‘Cos we’re loaning HG10s to a selection of the top online camera enthusiasts, video bloggers and filmmakers so that they can talk about their experiences with the device.
Phil Campbell of me.dm, prolific vlogger and self-confessed ‘web developer, designer and geek gadget boy’ has started a dedicated HG10 Twitter feed to share his thoughts; and he’s just reported that he’s just received his camera and is gathering his first impressions before he gives it a full workout. Check it regularly for updates, along with his HG10 BlipTV channel where he’ll be uploading clips he makes with the camera – and you can visit his Flickr, Pownce, Jaiku, Facebook and Operator11 spaces too (forget Scoble, this guy IS social media!)

Allow me to openly go on the scrounge for a moment. I figure if I do it openly here, at least it won’t feel so dirty.
I’ve been vlogging for the last 9 months with my Nokia N93 phone. Shooting, cutting and posting with it to Twittervlog.tv and to Twitter.
But I feel I’m reaching the end of the line with it – at least for the moment. I need to start playing with a real camera again, with nice colours and manual settings.
I’m a long term Canon user – I love Canon lenses and colours and low light capabilities. I have an XL1S for work which is obviously way too big for most videologging, and an old Ixus that I used to use – and I was thinking about getting myself a G9 to videoblog with, but it’s not a proper video camera and I’m feeling poor at Christmas.
So if you haven’t given all your trial HG10s out yet, I’d be really interested in giving it a whirl for you.
