Even in miserable February we sometimes get some decent weather over in Blighty, and it’s traditional for everyone to change in to shorts and t-shirts at the mere sniff of a ray of sunshine- so what better way is there to celebrate a lovely sunny day than heading to the beach and filming your family in HD?

Trialists Adam and Vik, along with their newborn Django (remember?) did just that as they took their HG10 along to Morecombe Bay. As their trial comes to an end, Vik reflects: “when Django is older he will wonder why it was only the first month of his is life was recorded with such beautiful image quality…!”

Adam admits that he may have spent a little too much time behind the viewfinder for Vik’s liking, cradling Django with one arm while “using a pen and tablet to edit iMovie08 in the other”. He recommends any HG10 owners to use a 1TB external firewire drive, plus there’s also the promise of a lot more footage to come, as Adam has filled the 40 gigabyte hard drive up with some excellent shots.
