Got it for $229, But recently seen it on the Walmart website for $199. Works great .Only has a usb output which is connected to your HG10 or similar. Records to standard DVD-R or -RW only. Now trying to figure out how to record from HD DVR (Directv) which also has a usb for future use but haven't done that yet. Dvd will only play through the camera wired through the DW 100 burner. But the dvd disc will play through my PS3 easily and probable any BluRay player. You can also record in low res to play on any dvd player ,the catch is you have to set the HG10 to low res before you record ,which sucks. The only way to get around this is to somehow downconvert the Hd disc on your computer and burn it on the computers burner. Hope this helps anyone. For HD only its the only way to go.
